- The Maryland attorney general's office is investigating a fatal crash on I-695 in Catonsville involving police. Early Saturday morning, Maryland Transportation Authority officers pursued a vehicle they say was driving "above the speed limit and weaving in and out of lanes" after they attempted to make a traffic stop for a violation. A statement says the driver, a 26-year-old male, exited the highway at Wilkens Avenue at a high rate of speed, lost control, and was ejected from the vehicle when he hit the median. The officer's dashboard camera and microphone both were active during the pursuit, but neither the identity of the officer nor the driver has been released. (CBS Baltimore)
- Baltimore County detectives continue to investigate a shooting that happened on the evening of Oct. 7 in the 600 block of Delaware Ave. in Essex. Officers on the scene found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. A reward is being offered for any information about the incident. (Catonsville Patch)
