Here are the top stories today in Catonsville:

1. Not a Sam's Club member yet? For a limited time, Catonsville residents can sign up for a new membership and help end hunger. Beginning today through Dec. 15, 25 percent of the cost of a new membership will be donated to Action Against Hunger. New members who sign up during this period will also receive a Take 'N Bake Pizza or a Seasoned Rotisserie Chicken as a thank you for supporting the cause. Sign up online, then head to the Catonsville Sam's Club at 5702 Baltimore National Pike to start shopping! (Catonsville Patch)
2. Catonsville's own Domain by Laura Hodges Studio was featured on a Buzzfeed list of "things that will have your back all year long." The list included Domain's $4.99 dryer balls that will dry your clothes faster and cut down on wasted dryer sheets. The brick-and-mortar (and online) store was praised as being a one-stop-shop for "globally sourced, fair-trade, and sustainable home decor." (Buzzfeed)
3. Baltimore County Public Schools sent a letter to students' parents and guardians this weekend about a possible disruption to school bus service. The district had learned that school bus drivers and bus attendants might organize a "call out" in the coming week, as the county is offering incentives and pay increases to combat an existing workforce shortage. 4. Schools across Baltimore County will reward students and staff by closing early for Thanksgiving. BCPS announced that schools and offices will close Wednesday, Nov. 24 through Friday, Nov. 26 to recognize the "tremendous efforts" of staff throughout the pandemic. (FOX Baltimore)
