Why Go: Start your weekend off by aligning your chakra as you alternate between Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga and others. Pre-registration required.

Where/When: Friday, 8:30 p.m., El Nayar

Why Go: After yoga, head on over to El Nayar for a meal and the musical trio of Abbi Bardi, Bob Pyle, and Tony McGuffin as they play well-crafted, funny, insightful, original songs, old-timey Americana, and authentic, mostly-American folk music.

Cost: Meal prices vary.

Where/When: Saturday, 6:30 p.m., Benjamin Banneker Historical Park

Why Go: Summer evenings were meant for Jazz. Plus, the proceeds from this event will be used to promote the Legacy, History and Preservation of Benjamin Banneker.

Cost: $20 Adults/$10 Children 15 years old and under

Where/When: Sunday, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., the wall around the Summit Health Care Building

Why Go: Street cars are part of Catonsville History and this mural, which, was part of Clark LeCompte's 1997 Eagle Scout Project is in need of repair. Show your support for our history and the Catonsville arts by helping restore this mural.

Where/When: Sunday, 6 p.m., Lurman Woodland Theatre

Why Go: You started the weekend with yoga, now let's end it with some New Orleans-Style Party Music. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
