Free Immunization Clinics Open To BCPS Students
The county's free immunization clinics are at Woodlawn Health Center and at the Eastern Family Resource Center.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Students may be learning from home this fall, but they still are required to be up-to-date on their immunizations per the state health department. The Baltimore County Health Department will be providing free immunizations to children who meet certain qualifications. Children covered by private insurance are unable to obtain vaccines at health department clinics and should contact their health care providers.
Children eligible for free immunizations are those who are 18 years of age or younger and:
- have no insurance coverage for vaccines or
- are eligible for Medical Assistance or the Maryland Children’s Health Insurance Program (M-CHIP) or
- are of Alaskan or American Indian descent.
The county’s free immunization clinics are being held at Woodlawn Health Center, 1811 Woodlawn Dr., and at the Eastern Family Resource Center, 9150 Franklin Square Dr. Families may make appointments for either location by calling 410-887-2705.
