Free Parking in Catonsville for Holidays

Baltimore County government issued the following statement Thursday, Dec. 18:

Free parking meters in Baltimore County—December 20-25

Parking will be free at 1,735 meters throughout Baltimore County from December 20 to 25, just in time for last-minute holiday shopping in the county’s traditional commercial areas.

During the parking meter holiday dates, meters will be decorated with red “Seasons Greetings” bags in Catonsville, Towson, Parkville, Essex, Overlea, Pikesville, Arbutus, Stoneleigh and Dundalk.

“With free meter parking, it’s even easier to visit and support Baltimore County’s locally-owned shops and restaurants. There are literally hundreds of wonderful places to discover distinctive gifts and everything you need for a holiday get-together, from a new outfit to great food and flowers,” said Baltimore CountyExecutive Kevin Kamenetz.
