Fuel Spill Snarls Traffic On I-695: SHA
BREAKING: Those taking the outer loop of I-695 Wednesday afternoon may want to take an alternate route.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A fuel spill is clogging the outer loop of Interstate 695 Wednesday afternoon, according to the State Highway Administration.
At 1:50 p.m., transportation officials said the right two lanes were closed on the I-695 outer loop between US 40/Baltimore National Pike and MD 144/Frederick Road.
Authorities said the lane closures may be in effect for an extended period of time.
