  1. The mayor of Baltimore has tested positive for COVID-19. Mayor Brandon M. Scott took two tests on Friday and received the positive results on Monday, after a weekend of participating in outdoor events. The mayor is working with health officials on contact tracing, since he attended the Parade of Latino Nations on Eastern Avenue on Sunday and on Saturday he attended soft opening for the St. Francis Neighborhood Center on Linden Avenue as well as a groundbreaking for Parity Homes in Harlem Park.   2. Firefighters and a hazardous materials crews responded to a fuel spill on Monday in south Baltimore. Officials say an unknown amount of diesel fuel spilled into the Curtis Creek and the Cabin Branch waterways off the 6200 block of Pennington Avenue. Crews from the Maryland Department of the Environment and the U.S. Coast Guard assisted city fire units in trying to contain the spill. (WBAL TV Baltimore)
  3. Catonsville High graduate AJ Robinson biked from Astoria, OR to Ocean City, MD to raise money for the Maryland Food Bank and Sunshine Division in Oregon. (Daily Advent)
