I-695 Crash Clears Near Wilkens Avenue: Officials

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A crash on Interstate 695 snarled traffic during the Friday afternoon rush in Baltimore County near Wilkens Avenue. The collision was on the outer loop past the exit for Wilkens Avenue, before Frederick Road.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision around 2:45 p.m., according to transportation officials.

During the response, the two left lanes and left shoulder were closed in the area.

By 4 p.m., officials said the crash had cleared.
