Man Found Dead In Catonsville House Fire: Officials
After a one-alarm house fire, a man's body was found in the attic area, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

CATONSVILLE, MD — A man was found dead in the attic area of a Catonsville house Monday night in Catonsville, fire officials said. He has not yet been identified, authorities reported Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the 400 block of Commonwealth Avenue at 6:59 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, officials said. When they arrived, crews reported smoke was coming from the gables of the home.
The fire was knocked at 7:07 p.m., officials said.

Although the home appeared to be vacant, investigators found the man who died appeared to be living in the attic space and was using a fire to stay warm.
Firefighters discovered the man's body while they were searching to make sure the fire had not spread as they cleared the scene of the one-alarm blaze, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

An autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is pending, officials said.
