Medevac Called For Patapsco Valley State Park Rescue: Officials
Officials said search and rescue crews were called to assist in Patapsco Valley State Park.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Officials said a helicopter conducted a rescue in Patapsco Valley State Park. The injured person, who was conscious and alert, was flown from a remote location to a local hospital, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.
Crews were dispatched to the Glen Artney area of Patapsco for a person in need of medical care at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday, June 25. The victim was in the 6000 block of Glen Artney Road.

Due to the remote location, fire officials said the Urban Search and Rescue team was called in to assist with the rescue.
Within about an hour, the injured person was en route for treatment; the victim was being flown to a local hospital, the fire department reported after 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 25.
