Here are the top three stories in Catonsville today:

  1. Who's hungry? The Baltimore Taco Festival is returning this weekend. This year's event will feature over 25 taco and food vendors, Lucha Libre Wrestling, and a Tequila Expo. The festival will take place from Nov. 5-6 at Power Plant Live! (Baltimore Taco Festival via Instagram)
  2. A new comedy by local playwright Susan Middaugh will have a staged reading on Nov. 6 at the Baltimore County Arts Guild in Catonsville. Based on a true story set in the city of Baltimore, the play features local actors and will be directed by George Andre Tittle. The event is free, but keep in mind that seating is limited. More information can be found at the link. (Patch)
  3. A new company has arrived in the Catonsville area that focuses on helping women in the community find employment. TheeSeeds, LLC has launched in Baltimore as a new Eligible Apprenticeship and Workforce Training Provider. As the for-profit arm of the nonprofit organization Women of Valor, TheeSeeds offers support — including skills training and job readiness courses — to women struggling with workforce barriers or unemployment.
