The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Catonsville.

Good morning, neighbors! It's me again, Nicole Fallon-Peek, your host of the Catonsville Daily.
First, today's weather:
A bit of snow and rain; cold. High: 42 Low: 25.
Here are the top stories today in Catonsville:
- As families continue to recover from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. Postal Service is hoping Baltimore County residents will step up to help make the holidays a little merrier and brighter for families who may be experiencing financial hardship. Through its annual Operation Santa program, the USPS encourages local families with children who wish to write a letter to Santa to do so by Dec. 10 using a special "North Pole" address. Then, you can drop off the letter at the post office at 700 Geipe Rd Rear or 1001 Frederick Rd in Catonsville. Letters will be posted online for generous community members to "adopt" so they can fulfill your child's holiday wish. (Catonsville Patch)
- Enjoy time in nature with your little one at Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum in Catonsville this winter. The park's Nature Tots series, which runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays in December, January, and February, features lots of seasonal hands-on activities, stories, crafts, and games. A portion of every class will be held outside, so participants are advised to dress for the weather. A parent/guardian must be an active participant, and children may only be registered for one series each season. Click the link for registration details. (Catonsville Patch)
- The Catonsville Sparkle People's Choice Award is now open for voting! This holiday event, hosted by the Catonsville Chamber of Commerce and the Baltimore County Arts Guild, will bring a festive sparkle to town this season. Look for the snowman in each participating business's storefront display, then cast your vote for your favorite one using this form. (Catonsville Chamber of Commerce)
