Police Activity Jams I-695 Traffic On West Side
BREAKING: There are major delays on I-695 due to police activity in Baltimore County, authorities report.
CATONSVILLE, MD — Police activity on Interstate 695 is causing delays near the Woodlawn and Catonsville areas Monday afternoon, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration. The activity has impacted both the inner and outer loops of the Baltimore beltway.
Someone fell off the Crosby Road bridge and was hit by a vehicle on I-695, according to WBAL Radio, which reported it was unclear if the man had jumped or if it was accidental; he was taken to a hospital in serious condition, police told WBAL, and those in the vehicle were unharmed.
Crosby Road is between the exits for Interstate 70 and US 40.

The three left lanes were closed on the outer loop of I-695 at Crosby Road, authorities reported before 3 p.m.; the two left lanes on the inner loop were also closed.
As of 3:20 p.m., the incident had cleared to the right shoulder on the outer loop of I-695 past the exit for I-70.
