Police Cancel Silver Alert For Missing Catonsville Man

Police said the missing man was located safely.

CATONSVILLE, MD — The man who disappeared from Catonsville has been found, according to the Baltimore County Police Department. Early Friday morning, police said Frank Kirby was safely located.

PREVIOUS REPORT — Authorities have issued a silver alert for a Catonsville man who left home at 1:30 p.m. Thursday and has not returned home. Frank Kirby, 84, may be confused or disoriented due to medical conditions, according to police.

Kirby left his home in the unit block of Old Dominion Court to go clothes shopping in the afternoon and has not returned, police said Thursday evening. Relatives reported being unable to reach him by phone.

He was driving a tan, four-door 2003 Buick LeSabre with Maryland registration "MCE245," officials said.

He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 140 pounds with brown eyes, short gray hair and glasses.
