Porch Collapse on Oella Avenue Injures Two, Officials Say

One person was taken by helicopter for medical treatment, Baltimore County public safety officials reported.

Two people were taken for medical treatment after a porch collapsed in Catonsville Tuesday afternoon, according to Baltimore County public safety officials.

At 4:53 p.m. on Tuesday, first responders were called to a building in the 400 block of Oella Avenue where the porch had collapsed, the report from Baltimore County said.

By 5:14 p.m., two people who were trapped had been rescued, according to the report.

Officials said that a helicopter transported one person for medical treatment, while another individual was taken to the hospital by land.
