Program Takes Baltimore County Seniors to Plays, Concerts, Cultural Events
Enrollment in Senior Box Office ends August 30.

Harry Quinn may be retired, but he still enjoys a night out on the town.
Quinn, who lives in Perry Hall, is president of Senior Box Office, a volunteer organization that provides Baltimore County seniors with free or discounted tickets to plays, concerts and cultural events.
"We want to be active," he said. "It really is marvelous for seniors to see what Baltimore has to offer and go to these cultural events."

Entertainment venues have a long tradition of providing last-minute complimentary tickets to the Baltimore County Department of Aging, Quinn said. Nearly 30 years ago, Senior Box Office was formed to assist in distributing tickets.
Today, more than 800 households are enrolled in the organization and more than 100 volunteers participate in distribution, Quinn said.
