Robberies, Assault, Burglaries: Precinct 1 Police Roundup

CATONSVILLE, MD — The following incidents occurred in the past week in Precinct 1 Wilkens.

July 20: First Degree Burglary, 3000 Block of Louisiana Avenue 21227 Jul 20, 2020 1:00:00 AM EDT
Sometime between 1 a.m. and 3 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) broke a door window to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect(s) rummaged through rooms and stole cash, a computer and jewelry.

July 17: First Degree Assault, 400 Block of 3rd Avenue 21227 Jul 17, 2020 11:30:00 AM EDT
At 11:30 a.m., two known suspects went to the victim's residence and an argument ensued. One of the suspects displayed a weapon, entered the victim's house and threatened the victim with the weapon. The victim was able to push the suspect out. A short time later, the victim exited his house and then was assaulted by the same suspect.

July 17: Second Degree Burglary, 5300 Block of Edmondson Avenue 21228 Jul 17, 2020 4:20:00 AM EDT
At 4:20 a.m., two unknown suspects gained entry into the Westway Liquors and attempted to steal an ATM which was inside. The suspects were unsuccessful and fled the scene in vehicle.

July 17: First Degree Burglary, 300 Block of Whitfield Road 21228 Jul 17, 2020 2:28:00 AM EDT
At 2:28 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the victim's residence and stole a credit card, vehicle keys and the victim's vehicle.

July 16: Attempted Second Degree Burglary, 3800 Block of Annapolis Road 21227 Jul 16, 2020 3:19:00 AM EDT
At 3:19 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) threw a brick into the glass door of John's Italian Deli and Grille to gain entry. Entry was not gained.

July 16: Second Degree Burglary, 3600 Block of Annapolis Road 21227 Jul 16, 2020 2:51:00 AM EDT
At 2:51 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) shattered the front door at Sriracha Teriyaki to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect stole the cash register and then fled.

July 14: Robbery, 4300 Block of Alan Drive 212258 Jul 14, 2020 11:30:00 PM EDT
At 11:30 p.m., an unknown suspect followed the victim while he was trying to enter his apartment. The suspect, displaying a gun, demanded money from the victim. The victim gave the suspect his belongings and the suspect fled.

July 14: Robbery, 4300 Block of Annapolis Road 21227 Jul 14, 2020 3:40:00 PM EDT
At 3:40 p.m., the victim was assaulted and robbed of his cell phone by two unknown suspects behind the 7-Eleven. The suspects then fled the area on foot.

July 14: Robbery, 3500 Block of Washington Boulevard 21227 Jul 14, 2020 5:10:00 AM EDT
At 5:10 a.m., two unknown suspects approached the victim asking for cigarettes and his phone. One of the suspects assaulted the victim and stole the victim's wallet. The suspects then fled on foot.
