Smoke Near BWI is Training: Officials
Did you see billowing smoke near BWI Wednesday morning? Don't be alarmed.
There is a live fire training going on at the Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport Wednesday morning, according to airport officials.
The BWI Fire and Rescue Department is conducting the exercise, officials said.
The Baltimore Office of Emergency Management gave citizens a heads up Wednesday morning that if they saw smoke in south Baltimore, it was likely coming from the training exercise at BWI.
