  1. The Catonsville Sunday Farmers Market has extended its 2021 season through Dec. 19. For the final three weeks of the market, pop-up vendors will be accepted. Any business interested in being a vendor on Dec. 5, 12, or 19 can fill out this form. (Catonsville Chamber of Commerce)
  2. Tickets are still available for the Chamber's annual community Holiday Party! The event will be held at State Fare restaurant (748 Frederick Road) on Tuesday, Dec. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. Residents who purchase four tickets will get a fifth one free. Click here to register.   3. A Baltimore County police officer opened fire on a driver who tried to flee a traffic stop on Tuesday evening. Police said the officer was trying to stop a driver in the 6900 block of Blanche Road near the Fallstaff Shopping Center on Reisterstown Road. The driver then tried to leave the scene and repeatedly struck an officer's car with his SUV, prompting the officer to discharge a weapon. One officer was transported to an area hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The driver was arrested. (CBS Baltimore)
