Here are the top stories in Catonsville today:
- The Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a local farmer's market, held each Sunday morning through Nov. 21. The Sunday Market offers produce picked at the peak of freshness along with a delicious variety of baked goods and specialty items that include adult beverages. Residents can visit the market on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 15 Mellor Avenue. (Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce)
- The Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPWT) is requesting input from county residents to inform Baltimore County's Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. Residents in Catonsville and countywide can submit their feedback through the DPWT's online survey, through their online interactive mapping tool, or through written comment. Following community input, Baltimore County will develop recommendations for the master plan and release a draft report in 2022. (Baltimore County Government)
- Catonsville Concerts at 3 will present the first concert of their 2021-2022 season this Sunday, Oct. 17 at the Catonsville Presbyterian Church. Trumpeter Andrew Balio and organist Bruce Bengtson recently teamed up to record a remarkable CD of Bach works and will be playing from that program for the concert. Admission is free; masks and proof of vaccination are required. (Baltimore Sun)
