The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Catonsville.

Good morning, Catonsville! It's Monday, so let's get you started with everything you need to know going on in Catonsville today.
First, today's weather:
Partly sunny; breezy, cooler. High: 45 Low: 29.
Here are the top stories in Catonsville today:
- Last night was the 28th annual Catonsville Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by numerous local businesses, restaurants, and other organizations. Cookies and hot chocolate were provided for attendees by Ravens Roost #117 and the Rotary Club of Catonsville before the tree was lit up. In case you missed it, you can check out this brief clip of the lighting countdown posted to YouTube by a Catonsville resident! (Catonsville Chamber of Commerce)
- For families that celebrate Christmas, there's nothing more precious and magical than a child's belief in Santa Claus. That's why a Catonsville carpenter moonlights as Santa's Helper, writing back to hopeful children who send letters to the North Pole. For the last 20 years, Rick Brostrom has been collecting letters to Santa from kids in the community, reading all of them, and replying back. As a carpenter, Brostrom built a mailbox to store the hundreds of letters addressed to Santa in the North Pole each year, and whenever he sees a return address, he sends a note in return from "Santa." - Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, and the Baltimore County Arts Guild asks local residents to consider donating to the BCAG Accessibility Project. This fundraiser will support the building of a wheelchair ramp at The Catonsville Clubhouse, making the Guild's community arts center accessible to all. Click here to make a donation.
