There is a Machiavellian method to Trump's madness and it is ominous.
Government agencies are created by acts of Congress. They cannot be abolished unilaterally by a president. Trump knows this and will attempt to achieve his fascist takeover of our nation by ordering agency staff reductions and by hiring MAGA employees who support his agenda.
Republicans will be complicit because they have repeatedly proven themselves to have no honor and no integrity.
Make no mistake: our democracy is under attack.
We must resist whenever, wherever and however we can.
