UMBC Announces New Masters Program

UMBC's English Department recently announced that it will have a new master's degree.

The new degree is a master of arts in Texts, Technologies and Literature. UMBC said in recent press release that it's going to "provide an opportunity for students to further their understanding of literature and a broad array of other texts, including digital, academic, and those we use every day."

The school said it's going to be designed to accommodate students with different interests who are going on different career paths.

Ideal degree candidates include those studying English Studies, high school teachers searching for advanced training or those starting in professions dealing with communications, editorial and the digital media areas.
