UMBC Athletics' Hall of Fame Dinner & Induction Ceremony

The UMBC Athletic Hall of Fame dinner and inductions will take place on Saturday evening, Jan. 25, 2014 at the Southeast Club Level of M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.  The inductees will also be honored at halftime of the UMBC men’s basketball game versus Hartford (3:30 p.m. start time) that afternoon.

The inductees are Justin Bronson, ’09 (men’s swimming & diving), Cindy Kubiet (Director of Sports Medicine, 1978-present), Kelly Fiorani Marriott, ’06 (women’s lacrosse/soccer), Jay Greene, ’09 (men’s basketball), Ray Ignacio, ’87 (men’s lacrosse), Alessandra Pedergnana, ’06 (women’s tennis), Kristie Pickeral, ’06 (softball) and Brian Rowland, ’03 (men’s soccer).

Tickets for the event may be purchased via RetrieverNet (http://bit.ly/JwlrVF). The purchase of a ticket also entitles the attendee to admission to the basketball games that afternoon. (The women’s team opens the festivities by hosting Hartford at 1:00 p.m.)

The hall of fame inductions, which have been a biennial event for UMBC Athletics for more than a decade, will revert back to becoming an annual event on the athletics’ calendar.
