Vehicle Flips On Route 40 In Catonsville: Officials

CATONSVILLE, MD — A vehicle flipped on Route 40 near Johnnycake Road Sunday night, according to Baltimore County public safety officials. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.

Emergency officials were dispatched to the area of the Westview shopping center at 9:48 p.m.

A woman inside the vehicle that overturned got out on her own and was evaluated for minor injuries, authorities said.

By 10:45 p.m., transportation officials reported US 40 was closed to westbound traffic between St. Agnes Lane and Johnnycake Road due to the crash.
