1. The annual Y Turkey Trot Charity 5K is back! Join The Y in Catonsville at one of six central Maryland locations or virtually from your own neighborhood for this morning's race This fun-filled morning of tradition, family, fitness, friendship, and giving back is perfect for adults, teenagers, children, and even your pups. Get a healthy start to your Thanksgiving and do something good for your community. If you prefer to trot virtually, you're invited to walk, run or leisurely stroll 3.1 miles during a time that's convenient between now and Saturday, Nov. 27. Click the link to register. (The Y)
2. The 28th Annual Catonsville Tree Lighting Ceremony is happening this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Catonsville Fire Station #4 (756 Frederick Rd). Holiday music, hot chocolate, and cookies will be provided by the Catonsville Santa House Committee, and children will get a chance to meet Santa.
