Every other Thursday through December, local historians and storytellers will explore topics from Black mutual aid societies to Quakers in Kent County, and you're welcome to bring a brown-bag lunch.
   

5. Washington College Announces Tuition Commitment for Maryland Families (whatsupmag.com) — Washington College in Chestertown is launching a new Tuition Commitment that fully covers tuition for eligible Maryland students from families earning $75,000 or less. Local students who qualify can access the college's academics, mentoring, and hands-on learning without tuition costs, giving Chestertown-area families a clearer, more affordable path to a four-year degree close to home.
