A Man of Milk Cartons? Or a Dog of Soup Cans?

There's a world of possible creations you can make at this weekend's Sculpture Workshop.

Look at your empty soup can, milk jug or old newspaper. What could you turn it into?

Remind yourself how creative you are at a , in honor of America Recycles Day. Load up your recyclables, your friends and family and drive on over to Davis Hall to construct your masterpiece Saturday.

If your art skills are a little rusty, check out the photos provided by Arts Specialist Aaron Springer of the College Park Arts Exchange, which orchestrated the workshop in conjunction with the city's Department of Public Works. Springer will lead the workshop.

All ages are welcome, but registration is required, so do that today. There is a fee that will be used toward lunch. .

Your sculptures will then be on display in the Council Chambers of for two weeks.

Participants will also have their names put into a drawing for the chance to win a gift certificate to a bicycle shop and a school grant for $500.
