Maryland Prepares To Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night With 'Los Terps' Football Helmets - University of Maryland Athletics (umterps.com) — College Park will host a high‑energy Hispanic Heritage Night at SECU Stadium on Sept. 19, featuring special "Los Terps" helmets, giveaways, and Hispanic music and dance performances. Players and alumni say the primetime matchup with Virginia Tech is a chance for the city's and DMV's Hispanic communities to see their culture celebrated front and center on Maryland's home field.
3. The Week in Winners: $60,000 prize and 11 wins of $50,000 highlight Maryland Lottery's week (nottinghammd.com) — A College Park Dash-In on Baltimore Avenue sold a $10,000-winning Platinum Payout scratch-off ticket in the latest round of Maryland Lottery prizes. Several of the larger prizes remain unclaimed.
4. Colleges nationwide report early enrollment drops, financial strain, and heavier advising workloads as they challenge the rule in court before it takes effect next month.
