Alongside three University of Virginia students, Bolla worked on projects ranging from website upgrades to AI tools, gaining hands‑on experience that could benefit future research and tech careers back in College Park.
• Meet Frances Tiafoe's Parents, Alphina and Frances Tiafoe Sr. (townandcountrymag.com) — A world‑top‑10 tennis player actually grew up in College Park, where his parents' hard work at the Junior Tennis Champions Center and in local healthcare helped launch his career. The story highlights their immigration from Sierra Leone, sacrifices made while living at the tennis center, and how he's now giving back through a youth tennis and education fund in the D.C. area.
