"Are You For The Child?" Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate in 2012!

*CASA/Prince George's County provides training to potential volunteers 4 times a year.  We are currently interviewing for our Winter 2012 Class that runs from 01/24/12-02/23/12. To learn more about what it means to be a CASA, join our information session on Thursday, January 5th from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Hyattsville Municipal Building.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)/Prince George's County recruits and trains volunteers to advocate for the needs of children living in foster care. Volunteers spend about 10 hours per month visiting with a child and collaborating with other adults protecting the child to ensure his or her needs are met and a safe permanent home is found. We are looking for volunteers who can give a minimum of one year commitment.  If you have ever considered becoming a child advocate, our information session on January 5th is for you! Please visit our website at: www.pgcasa.org, call us at 301-209-0491, or send us an email at pgerber@pgcasa.org.
