Volunteers needed for new after school program!

CASA de Maryland pleased to announce that we have just started a new after school program at the Pine Ridge Community Center.

The program operates during the following hours: Tuesday-Friday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, teens Tues-Fri from 5:00pm-6:00pm We are seeking volunteers to help staff the program and lead fun and exciting activities with the students in our program.

While we would love to work with people that already have leadership, coaching or teaching abilities, we welcome anyone that can be a positive role model to these students during this critical time in their lives.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right people to get involved in building this program from the ground up. If you'd like to help, please email Jihan Asher (jasher@casamd.org) with the age group you would like to with, your availablility and how you think you can contribute. We are also accepting donations of (gently) used or new books and board games.

The Pine Ridge Community Center is easily accessible from College Park, Silver Spring and Takoma Park.
