A "FOREVER HOME" MAY OR MAY NOT BE.

A "FOREVER HOME."  Like many other rescue and re-homing services, volunteers for the College Park Animal Shelter are slowly realizing that this term, made popular in the field of animal welfare, may be outmoded.

Given aging human companions, difficult economic circumstances and greater longevity of domestic animals, we find ourselves re-homing more often than once.

Let's all give recognition to the strength, endurance and tenacity of some of our OLDER ANIMALS, both cats and dogs.

They are busy proving the old adage, every day.  Many times, "THE BEST IS YET TO COME!"
