North College Park Civic Association picnic organizer Donna Weene said that Hurricane Irene has forced a delay in the neighborhood picnic planned for August 27th. She had a plan for rain but not for high wind. Picnic will be Saturday September 10th now -- same time (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and same place (the grounds of Davis Hall, 9217 51st Ave.).
