I had occasion Tuesday evening to note the continuing deterioration in mail delivery in North College Park.
1. As I was setting out my trash and recycling toters, I spied an envelope in the street. Bending down like a good citizen to eliminate junk mail from our environment, I found it was *outgoing* mail from a neighbor. Returning the envelope to my neighbor's mailbox, I found very solid security for any outgoing mail. Unless, of course, the carrier had dropped it.
2. Thumbing through my own mail, I found an envelope marked "important tax information" from a state agency. But it wasn't addressed to me; it was supposed to go to my neighbor.

3. Continuing through my own mail, I found a bill from Victoria's Secret. Again, not addressed to me. This was a different neighbor's.
I wonder what mail of mine is going to my neighbors instead.
