Business Update: Naked Pizza Out, Auntie Anne's In, Library Underway

Naked Pizza has decided it won’t be opening at the 7413 Baltimore Ave. location, but will instead sublet to a new tenant.

This is according to the most recent edition of Business Beat, the bi-monthly newsletter published by the City of College Park’s Planning, Community and Economic Development department. The full report accompanies this post, but here’s a quick summary of some of the items:

• Six new businesses — most of them restaurants — all across College Park have recently opened. Among them is .
• Four businesses have closed, including the Mexican fast food restaurant . One of the shops was the in upper midtown, which was planned to only be open temporarily.
• Several new places are listed as “coming soon,” including the Hookah Café and Auntie Anne’s Prezels.
• The city’s two farmers markets will re-open in the spring.
• Efforts are continuing to get the College Park Community Library up and running. The volunteers have already collected over 1,000 donated books.
