Cycle through Aviation History!
Discover 250 year of flight, burn calories and enjoy being outside on our bike tour!
Enjoy a guided bicycle tour along the Anacostia River trails while learning about the first balloon flight in America to intriguing 20th century inventions and industry. The ride is a flat, 10 mile loop and snacks are provided. There is some riding on quiet streets; however, the majority of the ride is on off-road, paved trails. Persons 16 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Register in advance by calling the museum at 301-864-6029 or emailing aviationmuseum@pgparks.com
Want to ride but don’t have a bike? Not a problem - we have bikes and helmets for your use as long as you call in advance to register.
