Defensive Lineman Cody Blue is Seventh Athlete to Leave Terps

The Diamondback published the poem, "All I want for Christmas" on Monday, poking fun at the struggling Terp football team, even listing the six players who announced they'll transfer after going 2-10 this fall.

Two days later, that stanza needs updating.

Defensive Lineman Cody Blue becomes the seventh Terp football player to announce he is leaving the University of Maryland, The Baltimore Sun reported late Tuesday.

It's not because of the school or new Coach Randy Edsall, he said.

Blue played in four games this past season and was credited with five tackles, including one for a loss of yardage, The Sun reported. Find the full story here.
