Natioal and local artists will gather for the third annual DC Bluegrass Festival, which will actually be held at the Holiday Inn in College Park.
Performers such as Auntie Em's Favorites, Dark Hollow Bluegrass Band and Circa Blue will compete Friday in a 15-band DC Bluegrass Union competition. Saturday's performers include headliners The Boxcars and Sierra Hull and Highway 111.
Oh. And bring your instruments, because jamming is highly encouraged.

Attendees can also pick up tips in various workshops on Saturday, including banjo and guitar playing.

The event runs from 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 thorugh 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25.
Tickets options include:
- Friday and Saturday, $60 for non-members
- Friday and Saturday, $55 for members
- Saturday (noon until close) $45 for non-members
- Saturday (noon until close) $40 for members
- Student rate (18 years and under) on Saturday, $15
- Saturday evening only (7 p.m.), $25, both members and non-memebers
- Friday evening only, members and non-members, $15
