Film and panel discussion on zero-waste movement — UNWASTED: The Future of Business on Earth

Many cities are adopting “zero-waste” goals and pledging to reduce their disposable waste to 10 percent of what they produce. Seattle is an example of one jurisdiction that is making significant strides towards this pledge--and this film shows how they're doing it. A panel-led discussion will follow on how we can do things differently, and better, in Prince George’s County.  Let’s develop an alternative community vision­ -- one that will prevent waste, fight global warming, and create green jobs through reuse, recycling and composting.
