
Three hundred underpriviledge children in the county will receive winter coats this year, through Operation Warm.
The county's Homeless Education Office staff members pre-identified the public school children who will receive coats. They will select the coats at this event, and distribute them to the families.
Operation Warm is a national initiative, and it will have served one million children total by the end of this year.

The Prince George’s County Fire/Emergency Medical Services Department and the University of Maryland are also working together for the program.
