Fire Reported in University of Maryland Library
Fire officials say the blaze is out and power is shut off to the McKeldin Library.
A fire in the basement of McKeldin Library on the University of Maryland campus in College Park has power shut off to the building.
Prince George’s County Fire Department spokesman Bark Brady said via Twitter that crews were called about 9:50 a.m. Monday.
He said electricity has been shut off to the library building. The fire is out in the basement electrical room, with no signs that it spread. No injuries have been reported.
