Holy Thursday and Good Friday at the Franciscan Monastery

Experience a Rome Tradition of the Seven Churches on Holy Thursday and then the Burial of Christ on Good Friday at the Franciscan Monastery

A popular Holy Thursday tradition from Rome comes to Brookland’s “Little Rome.” From 8:30 p.m. – midnight, join hundreds of Catholics traveling from church to church, including the Franciscan Monastery, in the Brookland neighborhood for Eucharistic Adoration and prayer in anticipation of Good Friday.

Join us on Good Friday for an outdoor Stations of the Cross at 2:30 p.m. and experience the Burial of Christ, reliving the moments from Calvary to the tomb, at 7:30 p.m.

The monastery is at 1400 Quincy St. NE, Washington, DC 20017. Free on-site parking.. For details, visit www.myfranciscan.org.
