MEETING PREVIEW: Vacant Building Demolition and Entertainment Licenses

The Mayor and Council will meet at 8 p.m. for a regular voting meeting, and it’s going to be a short one.

The council will convene in the council chambers on the second floor of at 4800 Knox Road.

Knock ‘em Down

The council will decide whether or not to apply for $140,000 through a state funding program called Community Legacy, to demolish three . The funds would also go toward temporary fencing around the properties and banners to market the properties to possible developers.

A License to Entertain

The council will vote on a resolution, formalizing the city's role in reviewing and weighing in on applications for entertainment licenses by establishments in College Park.
