Murder in Chillum: Police Canvass Community of Shooting Victim

Hollis Johnson was found with a fatal gunshot wound Monday night.

Crime Solvers is offering a $25,000 reward in the case of a fatal Chillum shooting late Monday night.

Prince George’s County Police detectives were canvassing the community Tuesday evening, passing out Crime Solvers flyers.

The victim, 39-year-old Hollis Bradford Johnson of Chillum Road in Chillum, was found at 11:20 p.m. just outside of his apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later, according to a PGCPD release.
