Cavan Wilk suggested that D.C. United, which has been working to nail down a deal for a new stadium for years now, build it on Terp land. The public infrastructure is there; the transportation is there (); and the new, is there to benefit, Wilk wrote.
D.C. United is offering to pay for the construction of a new stadium, wherever it might be, Wilk wrote; and the brought in from professional matches, hosting NCAA championships, and so forth.
