Hollywood Farmers Market (College Park)

Where: 9801 Rhode Island Ave, College Park
When: Saturday, June 1, 8 a.m.
Description: This resident-organized farmers' market in North College Park—right next to REI—offers fresh local produce, baked goods, meat, free-range eggs, plants, jewelry, and other crafts including aromatherapy candles. On occasion, there's also face-painting and other entertainment for the kids.

Garage Sale (Laurel)

Where: 405 Armstrong Court, Apt # C, Laurel, Inside the apartment
When: Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1
Description: Home décor, women’s shoes, traditional hookah, cordless phones, decorations, furniture, dinnerware, men and women’s clothing, etc.

Multi-Family Yard Sale (Laurel)

Where: 3525 Laurel View Court, Laurel (located off of Whiskey Bottom Rd near 198 in the Laurel Highlands neighborhood.)
When: Saturday, June 1, 7 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Description: Lots of items for sale including lots of kitchen items, Christmas decorations, cleaning products, books, DVDs, knick knacks, a desk, an office chair, yard games, candles, Precious Moments, costumes, home decor, plus size women clothing, men's clothing, dog stuff, & much more.

When: Saturday, June 1, 8 a.m. to Sunday, June 2, 2 p.m.
Description: Huge Multi-Family Garage Sale. Furniture (couches, tables, changing tables, dressers, lamps, chairs); Household Items; Tools; Toys and much more.

Howard County Farmers' Market (Cooksville)

Where: 2350 Route 97, Cooksville
When: Saturday, June 1, 9 a.m.
Description: Local produce located at Howard County Library’s Glenwood Branch, May 11 – November 23.

Cheverly Community Market (Cheverly)

Where: 6401 Forest Rd, Cheverly
When: Saturday, June 1, 8 a.m.
Description: Cheverly Community Market offers residents and visitors a walkable central location to connect with the community and buy the best fresh, local products available. A rotating array of great local musicians, artists, craftspeople and community groups will be on hand for this and every bi-weekly market throughout the 2013 season. Family Fun Festival/Attic Treasure Sale (Hyattsville)

Where: Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3799 E West Hwy, Hyattsville
When: Saturday, June 1, 9 a.m.
Description: This event is to raise awareness and money for the Lutheran Malaria Initiative in hopes of ending malaria deaths by the year 2015. The event is sponsored by Redeemer Lutheran Church. A $5.00 donation will buy a malaria wristband which grants access to the moon bounces as well as a popcorn or cotton candy. There will be hot dogs, chips, and soda available for sale as well as an attic treasure sale. All proceeds go to Lutheran World Relief in partnership with the United Nations Foundation.
Price: $5 donation for moon bounce, popcorn and candy.
