1st OhanaHC 5k Race/Walk To Be Held Sunday In Howard County With Fun Activities, Vendors

The 1st OhanaHC 5k Race/Walk will be held Sunday in Howard County with a DJ, live performances, laser tag, vendors, games, food trucks.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The inaugural OhanaHC 5k Race/Walk presented by M&T Bank will be held Sunday. Hosted by OhanaHC, a student mentoring non-profit based in Howard County, the fundraising event will take place in the Columbia Gateway complex in Columbia starting at 9 a.m. The OhanaHC 5k Race/Walk is open to competitors of all ages and will feature overall and age group prizes for race participants.

Participants are encouraged to register in advance before April 29, but there will be on-site registration on race day, too. Participants can register as individuals and as a team.

The event will include a festival area for participants and guests with vendor area, food trucks and family entertainment. Activities include complimentary access to the Next Level Gaming truck, a DJ, a performance by the Wilde Lake Step Team, tailgate games, outdoor laser tag, giveaways and more.
