2,400 Youth Swimmers Competing For Championships In Columbia

The 21st annual All-City Championship Meet will be held on Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28, at Phelps Luck Pool in Long Reach.

After weeks of swim meets, and after hundreds and thousands of yards and countless strokes through the water, some 2,400 of Columbia’s neighborhood swimmers will come together over the span of two days for the finale — a championship meet.

The 21st annual All-City Championship Meet will be held on Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28, at Phelps Luck Pool in Long Reach, 5355 Phelps Luck Drive.

Columbia Neighborhood Swim League (CNSL) is a 14-team recreational summer league for youth in Columbia and the surrounding Howard County area, organized by Columbia Association (CA). Swimmers range in age from 4 to 18. The All-City Championship Meet will be broken up into three sessions:

  • Session 1: Friday, July 27, ages 8 and younger, meet begins at 5:40pm
  • Session 2: Saturday, July 28, ages 13-18, meet begins at 9:10am
  • Session 3: Saturday, July 28, ages 9-12, meet begins at 1:10pm.
