2 Arrested On Little Patuxent Parkway: Columbia Crime
Police said two men were charged after officers conducting area checks noticed something in plain view on Little Patuxent Parkway.

COLUMBIA, MD — Several crimes were reported in Columbia over the weekend. Two people were arrested on Little Patuxent Parkway on drug and weapons charges, and two people were robbed, police said.
Officers conducting area checks saw what was believed to be marijuana next to a vehicle in the 10400 block of Little Patuxent Parkway at 2:08 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, according to police.
Both people inside the vehicle were arrested after authorities searched the vehicle and said they found a loaded handgun as well as items indicative of drug distribution.

- A 21-year-old from Envision Terrace in Bowie was charged with possessing more than 10 grams of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, having a loaded handgun in a vehicle and related weapons charges. He was released on bail on Sunday, Nov. 18, according to court records.
- A 30-year-old from Royal Path Cove in Laurel was charged with having a loaded handgun in a vehicle and on his person. Court records indicate he was released on Saturday, Nov. 17, on his own recognizance.
Street Robbery On Harpers Farm Road
A teen was assaulted and robbed in the 5400 block of Harpers Farm Road. Police said he was robbed by an acquaintance and two men who took his cell phone before leaving. Nobody was injured in the robbery, which happened at 6:40 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16.

Robbery At McDonald's On Cradlerock Way
Police said a teen stole McDonald's from a woman in the 7200 block of Cradlerock Way. She was leaving the restaurant when a black teen between 5-feet-6-inches tall and 5-feet-9-inches tall allegedly stole her food. The robbery happened in broad daylight, at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, according to officials. The suspect was wearing a brown or tan hoodie with black pants, police said.
